Coin Honors Benelux Treaty

For the first time, three European nations have issued coins with a common theme and common reverse design. The silver coins from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Benelux Customs Treaty which many consider the beginning of "European Movement" and a model for the current European Union. The coins are sold singly and as a three-coin set.
