New Miniature Motor Uses Silver to Reduce Wear

API Motion of Amherst, New York, has introduced a 17 millimeter miniature motor for use in medical pumps, security cameras and model trains that uses gold-alloy brushes and silver- alloy collector materials to increase efficiency and extend service life.
