A silver ion-laced ‘compression’ fabric, originally
designed for Israeli special forces, debuted at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens
when members of Israel's judo team wore Zensah sportswear. Now, the clothing is available to everyone.
The proprietary technology for seamless athletic apparel
contains a wicking structure to keep athletes dry in the summer and preserve body warmth in colder weather. In addition, imbedded silver ions keep garments odor free and help to regulate body heat. Because the clothing is seam-free, wearers experience no chafing or rubbing during strenuous activities.
The company produces shirts and shorts for athletes and a
tactical version for law enforcement personnel. Shirts retail for
$35 to $45 and shorts sell for $25. For more information: www.zensah.com. |
