New, Silver-Based Commercial Disinfectant Introduced

EnvirOx, L.L.C. of Danville, Illinois, has introduced Critical Care, a new commercial disinfectant-fungicide-virucide, featuring silver-based Axen-30 as the active ingredient.

Michael L. Krall, president and CEO of Innovative Medical Services, which manufactures Axen-3, said: “The launch of Critical Care by EnvirOx reflects the prevailing trend of an entire industry -- a transition from traditional poisonous chemicals to reduced toxicity, high efficacy janitorial and sanitation products. We believe that our Axenohl technology will be on the forefront of this evolution.”

Axen-30 silver ion technology has been shown to kill most common bacteria in 30 seconds and coat a non-porous surface with residual protection that lasts 24 hours.

Innovative Medical Services and EnvirOx together have obtained U.S. Environmental Protection Agency registration for Critical Care, and EnvirOx has already attained approval to sell Critical Care in many US states.

Innovative Medical Services recently signed an agreement with Therapeutics, Inc., a drug development company based in La Jolla, California, for the development and commercialization of Food and Drug Administration-regulated Axenohl-based products.
